Moving Actions, Rules And Comments Within A Ruleset

You may wish to rearrange the order of Actions, Rules and Comments within a saved Credit Review Ruleset.

There are several reasons why this may be necessary. For example:

Since Actions and Rules are always executed in the order in which they appear in the Ruleset, their positioning in the Ruleset may affect the outcome of the Credit Review.
Although Comments have no effect on the outcome, they are often used as labels describing the following Actions or Rules in the Ruleset. Therefore you may wish to move a Comment to a more appropriate position.

To move Rules, Actions and Comments within an open Ruleset:

1. Open the Credit Review Ruleset you wish to edit. See Opening A Saved Ruleset.

2. Click to select the Rule, Action or Comment line you wish to move.

3. From the Toolbar - Sub Menu:

Select the 'up' arrow to move the selected Rule/Action/Comment line up in the Ruleset.
Select the 'down' arrow to move the selected Rule/Action/Comment line down in the Ruleset.

4. When you have finished amending your Ruleset, save it by selecting Save on the Toolbar - Sub Menu.

5. Finally you will need to 'test run' the amended Credit Review before running it 'for real'. See Running A Credit Review.
