You have the option to Hold an IBT at any stage of the IBT procedure. Holding an IBT 'freezes' the transfer procedure so that the IBT record remains on the system, but the goods are not transferred.
An IBT may be held if:
there is a problem (e.g. with the stock); or:
you wish to create an IBT and gradually add stock to it through the day as required, then complete the IBT at the end of the day - thereby generating only one IBT rather than multiple documents.
To hold an IBT: click Hold on the Toolbar - Sub Menu:
Once Hold has been selected, the IBT will remain in a 'held' (or 'frozen') state. The IBT is placed in the Finder with a Status of Held.
If an IBT is placed on Hold, the current stage cannot be completed and the IBT cannot be flagged as 'Confirmed'.
To un-hold the IBT and make it active again, select and open it from the Finder. See:
To find a held IBT, click Advanced on the Finder Toolbar, select the 'Held' filter then click the search icon. You may now open the IBT document and then Amend/Complete it as you wish, thereby completing the current stage and printing that stage's document.
