Main Tab: Catalogue Details

The Catalogue Details section within the Main tab of the Product record will be populated with information if an online catalogue has been created.

What Information Is Displayed?

If an online catalogue has been created (see below), the Catalogue Details section will be populated with some or all of the following information:

• Product image

• Catalogue Number

• Short Description

• EAN Code

• Manufacturer EAN

• Manufacturer Name

• Manufacturer Part Number

• Product Group

• Links (i.e. links to websites offering further information)

How Is A Catalogue Created?

Product Catalogues are created using the Quantum VS Catalogue Management Tool - a Quantum VS add-on application.

Creating an online catalogue has the following potential applications:

• The product catalogue integrates with Quantum VS to provide a visual record of the product. This can be useful for product recognition and also as a sales tool when dealing face-to-face with customers.

• The product catalogue may also be incorporated into a Quantum VS e-business website. This potentially enables a business to offer online (a) information on products and services, (b) account management and (c) ordering.
