To delete an existing User Defined Field for a selected document type:
1. Follow steps 1 - 2 of Editing User Defined Fields to:
open User Defined Data Maintenance; then
select the required document type (e.g. Sales Order); then
highlight the User Defined Field (in the top-right area) you wish to delete; then
click Amend.
Note: To delete lookup menu values for this User Defined Field, without deleting the User Defined Field itself, see Updating User Defined Lookup Menu Values.
2. To delete the selected User Defined Field, click Delete:
Note: To 'lose' (i.e. not save) any changes and return to Enquiry mode, click Enquiry.
3. Click Yes to the 'Are you sure you wish to delete the user defined record...?' dialogue.
