Nominal Code records are used for the recording of business expenses.
Each type of business expense is assigned a unique Nominal Code and description using Nominal Code Maintenance. See Creating A New Nominal Code Record.
Business invoices and general expenses (Expenses, Haulage, Debit Notes) can therefore be assigned and cross referenced against Purchase Invoices using Purchase Invoice Registration And Matching. Nominal Codes may also be analysed using financial analysis software such as Quantum Financials.
