Creating A New Standing Order

A Standing Order is a type of Sales Contract for which the 'Standing Order' check box field has been enabled. Therefore, to create a Standing Order you will need to create, and then modify, a Sales Contract.

There are two ways of creating a new Sales Contract. You can:

• Create a new blank Sales Contract - see below. Or:

• Duplicate an existing Sales document (e.g. Sales Order, Sales Contract, Credit Note or another Quote) as a Sales Contract. The method is the same as when Duplicating A Sales Order.

Creating A New Blank Sales Contract

To create a new Sales Contract, use one of the following methods:

A blank Sales Contract opens in a new tab - New Sales Contract - on your desktop.

You will now need to select/enter certain details in the header to create a Standing Order. See Entering Standing Order Header Details.
