There is the facility for the System Administrator to create/save new table files. This may be required if you wish to use new functionality within Quantum VS which requires the use of a new table file. To create a new table file:

2. A new table file record will open in a new tab:
Enter information in the following fields:
Table Name: i.e. a short description.
Low/High Limit: This defines the lowest and highest possible tableFileEntryID value.
Code Type: Select from Letter or Numeric.
Code/Description Size. This defines the length of the code and description fields in characters.
Check the remaining fields as necessary.
3. When you have completed the fields as required, select Save from the Toolbar - Sub Menu to save the new record.
You may now use the methods described in Adding, Editing And Deleting Table File Values to create the values for your new table file.
