Setting Up Call Manager/TAPI

Setting Up Telephony For Quantum VS

How Does Quantum VS Integrate With Your Telephony System?

As a company you will be running the Quantum VS client on one or more Windows PCs.

Quantum VS connects to your outside telephony system via TAPI - Microsoft's standard Telephony Application Program Interface. TAPI enables details of incoming and outgoing calls to be passed to the computer system.

Depending on the telephone system you use, you may require software called a TAPI Service Provider (TSP) in addition to TAPI.

If You Are Running Quantum VS With VECTA

Users/companies running Quantum VS alongside VECTA - EDP's web-based VECTA sales intelligence solution - will need to download an application called Desktop Link. This must be running on each Quantum VS and VECTA user's PC so that information from your telephony system is successfully passed to Quantum VS and VECTA.

Desktop Link is available from EDP/Quantum VS Professional Services. See Using Desktop Link (For Running Quantum VS With VECTA).
