Recording User Defined Details For A Customer Part Number

To add, edit or remove User Defined details for a Customer Part Number:

 

1.      Open the required Customer Part Number record. See:

 

2.      Select Amend on the Toolbar - Sub Menu to make the Customer Part Number record amendable.

 

3.      Record User Defined details for the current Customer Part Number in the available fields. User Defined fields are placed below the standard Customer Part Number fields:

Note: Customer Part Number User Defined Fields are defined in User Defined Data Maintenance. See Creating User Defined Fields. Only fields for which the 'Show In User Defined Section' option was selected will display.

 

4.      When you have finished, save the Customer Part Number record by clicking Save on the Toolbar - Sub Menu.

These saved User Defined details will be available to view in various document types when the Customer Part Number is selected. See Viewing User Defined Details For A Customer Part Number.
