Recording User Defined Details For A Product

To add, edit or remove User Defined details for a Product:

1.      Open the required Product record. See:

• Finding Products

• Viewing A Product Record

2.      Select Amend on the Toolbar - Sub Menu to make the Product record amendable.

3.      Select User Defined Fields from the Toolbar - Sub Menu:

4.      In the User Defined Fields window, record details for the current Product:

Note: Product User Defined Fields are defined in User Defined Data Maintenance. See Creating User Defined Fields. Only fields for which the 'Show In User Defined Section' option was selected will display.

5.      When you have finished, click OK to close the window.

6.      Save the Product record by clicking Save on the Toolbar - Sub Menu.

These saved User Defined details will be available to view in various document types when the Product is selected. See Viewing User Defined Details For A Product.
