User Maintenance

The 'Admin' User or a System Administrator will need to create User records for each person who will be using Quantum VS in your business/organisation. (See Role And User Maintenance for an overview of Roles and Users.)

Each User record defines a number of attributes for each user, including their User Name and Password, plus their user-related system settings. Each user is also assigned a Role when their User record is created.

IMPORTANT: Before you can create a User record in Quantum VS you must do the following:

• You must first create Roles which can be assigned to Users. See Creating Roles.

• The Quantum VS user must have a Linux user login already set up.
