Creating An IBT Request

When a Request/Receiving Branch wishes to raise an IBT Request to request stock from another branch, the first step is to create an IBT Request.

To create a new IBT use one of the following methods:

This creates a new blank IBT document in its own tab (marked New IBT) on your desktop:

The IBT document has two tabs:

• IBT Document (open by default): in which you must enter IBT Header details to define the IBT Request, before entering line details to specify the goods you are requesting. And:

• Documentation: in which you may select documentation details to be added to/printed on the IBT Request.

You must now add the Header, Line and Documentation details using the methods described, before Completing and Printing the IBT Request.
