Customer Site records allow you to create separate records and delivery addresses for Customers which have multiple sites. If it is a temporary site - the customer is using premises for a short period before moving permanently to a new address - you may set up start/end dates for the record so that it expires at the correct time.
When a Customer has multiple Customer Sites recorded, alternative Customer Site delivery addresses are made available for selection when entering sales document header details. See Entering An Alternative Delivery Address.
