Certain features in Quantum VS must be configured to set up Ancillary Costings:

The following Optional Enhancements must be switched ON to enable Ancillary Costing-related features:

The following User Permissions may be used to enable (or disable) features relating to Ancillary Costings:

Enables the User to open/view Ancillary Costing records and related Finders.

Enables the User to create new Ancillary Costing records.

Enables the User to delete Ancillary Costing records.
|
User Permissions are enabled or disabled for a User via the Role they have been assigned - see Creating Roles.
User Permissions may be switched on or off for the current session only by selecting Tools > User Permissions from the Toolbar - Main Menu to display the Edit User Session Permissions Window (requires supervisor permissions). Check the boxes to allow permissions to the relevant application functions, then click OK. The procedure is similar to that used when Creating Roles.
Note: Newly-created User Permissions are typically not set for a User when upgrading to a new release of Quantum VS.
The following fields control Ancillary Costing-related system settings:
Branch > Sequence Tab: The Ancillary Costing GRN field in the Sequence tab of the Branch record defines the sequence number used by the system for the current Branch when generating Ancillary Costing-related Goods Received Notes. See Adding Branch Sequence Details.
Price Book Flags > Other Tab: The Ancillary Cost Hierarchy fields in the Other tab of the Price Book Flags control record determine the order in which Ancillary Costs are applied when a product being ordered is associated with more than one Ancillary Costing record type. See Price Book Flags: Other Record.
