Reviewing Completed Sales Contracts

You will periodically wish to review new and lapsed Sales Contracts. You may do this in order to review Sales Contracts on which Sales Orders must be raised, and Sales Contracts which have lapsed, pending further Customer contact and/or clearing down from the system.

Tasks can then be created - see Creating Tasks - and assigned to the appropriate User/Sales Rep. The purpose of the Task will be to schedule contact at a certain date/time with customers to see if/when they wish to place an order on the basis of the Sales Contract. The users/sales reps responsible for dealing with customers will see these Tasks in their My Tasks tab, which they can use to recall and Complete the Task, recording the outcome - see Viewing And Completing Tasks.

There are various ways of reviewing Completed Sales Contracts:

Enquiries/Quotes/Contracts Report

You may review Completed Sales Contracts by running the Enquiries/Quotes/Contracts report. You will need to select Sales Contracts in the Type field.

This report can be used to list Sales Contracts entered onto the system within a specified date range, and also lapsed Sales Contracts. There are additional options to focus on a range of Customer accounts, Branches, Sales Reps and/or Staff members. See Enquiries/Quotes/Contracts Report.

Sales Analysis

Information on Completed Sales Contracts is recorded for sales analysis. Sales Enquiry Analysis gives a breakdown of the number of contracts taken by each telesales representative, plus the number of lines and the value and cost of the contract. See Sales Enquiry Analysis.

Sales Contracts - Customer Record

The Sales Contracts tab of a Customer record gives a breakdown of Sales Contracts for the selected customer.

Sales Contracts - Product Record

The Sales Contracts tab of a Product record gives a breakdown of Sales Contracts for the selected product.
