A Credit Note may be amended after it has been Completed, up to the point where a Sales Invoice Credit has been issued. To edit a Credit Note:
1. Retrieve the Credit Note. You may retrieve and open the Credit Note:
From the Finder. See Finding Credit Notes.
From the Tracking tab of a Sales Order. See Sales Orders: Tracking Progress After Completion.
From the Open A Recent Document section of the Home tab (if the document has been recently closed). See Finding Recently-Viewed Documents.
From the Credit Notes tab of the Customer record. See Credit Notes Tab: Viewing Customer Credit Notes.
2. The Credit Note is opened. Click Amend on the Toolbar - Sub Menu to place the document in 'Amend' mode.
3. You may now amend the available fields in the header and/or product lines sections (in the Credit Note tab), in the other available tabs, and in the Properties area. For further details see:
Note: You may also edit the Batch/Bin/Serial Number allocation of any product which is 'batch traceable'.
4. Complete (or re-Complete) the Credit Note if required. You may also print/re-print the Credit Note. See Completing And Printing Credit Notes.
