Editing A Customer Record

In certain cases the System Administrator may be required to edit an existing customer record. Alternatively, different individuals may be required to enter different details to the customer record at different times. Therefore it may be necessary to amend an existing customer record. To do this:

 

1.      Use the Finder to locate and open the Customer record for the required customer. See Finding Customers.

 

2.      Make the record active by selecting Amend from the Toolbar - Sub Menu:

3.      When the Customer record is in Amend mode, only the following tabs/headers are available. Click on a tab as necessary and make your changes.

 

Note: When you initially open any Customer record (i.e. in non-amendable mode) you will see additional tabs/headers. For details see Viewing A Customer Record.

 

You may also enter and amend the following record types from a Customer record (when it is in non-amendable mode):

 

4.      When you have finished making changes, select Save from the Toolbar - Sub Menu to save and close the amended record.

 

Note: Alternatively, click Enquiry to return to Enquiry mode without saving any changes.
