Stock Control Reports

Quantum VS enables you to generate the following 'Stock Control' reports. Click the links for further details:

Use To...

Batch Bin Discrepancies

 

Discrepancies between the stock balances on the Product Inventory record and the stock balances on the Product record, for all products flagged for 'batch traceability'.

 

Fix, or simply report on, discrepancies between the stock balances on the Product Inventory record and the stock balances on the Product record, for all products flagged for 'batch traceability'.

 

Months Cover

 

 

The number of months that current stock balances will satisfy demand.

 

Identify where a branch is holding too little or too much stock of a particular product.

 

Negative Stock

 

 

Products that currently have a negative stock balance.

Identify products with a negative balance so that they can be investigated and any mistakes in selling, stock management or product set-up corrected.

 

Nil Stock/Low Sales

 

Products that have sales below a specified quantity and for which free stock is currently nil.

 

Identify product lines that are coming to the end of their activity.

Not Sold Since

 

A list of product lines of which no stock been sold since a specified date.

Monitor branch stock. Example 1: highlight products which are no longer of interest to customers and therefore could be made obsolete. Example 2: work out why products are no longer selling. For example, a product whose selling position within the store changed on a certain date has stopped selling - was this because customers no longer know where they can find the product?

 

Physical Stock Valuation

 

The value of stock for each product in a specified range.

 

Identify the value of your current physical stock.

Physical Stock Valuation Update

 

The value of Physical Stock against each Stock Record and captures this value on the Stock Record. This is useful for determining the value of/updating your current physical stock.

 

Identify and update the value of your stock so that stock records match the value of physical stock.

 

Pre Receipt Report

 

Outstanding items and quantities for a specified Purchase Order or IBT Receipt (i.e. Incoming IBT) on which goods are being received into stock.

 

Make the remote 'scanner user' - who scans the goods with a bar code scanner when they are received in the warehouse -  aware of the outstanding items and quantities for a Purchase Order/Goods Received Note or IBT Receipt being received into stock.

 

Reorders (Orders Required)

 

Which products need to be re-ordered, based on current stock and usage levels.

 

Identify products which need to be re-ordered. Can be used to identify products that have not been picked up by the Suggested Purchase Ordering report  routines (due to their data set up etc.).

 

Scanned Stock Count Input

 

Data captured by hand held Stock Count scanners as part of a Bar Coded Stock Take.

 

Report on data captured by hand held Stock Count scanners as part of a Bar Coded Stock Take.

Stock Count Listing

 

A list of the products to be counted in a stock take.

 

Identify stock to be counted during a stock take procedure.

 

Stock Usage By Count Group

 

Stock usage within selected Stock Count Groups.

 

Identify current levels of demand/stock usage.

 

Stock Variance

 

Variance between recorded and actual stock counted as part of a stock take. (Can also show a 'products not counted' report, listing products not yet counted in the stock take - see right for additional/alternative functions.)

Perform the following functions as part of a stock take:

 

  • Complete the stock take cycle. And/or:

  • Turn off the 'Stock Count Active' flag on any products included in the Stock Take. And/or:

  • Identify variance between recorded and actual stock; or:

  • Cancel the stock take cycle; or:

  • Print a 'products not counted' report.

 

Stock Write Down

Average monthly stock usage (over a selected period of months), the value of that stock and the value of any surplus stock. Can also show total issues (stock movements) for selected product group ranges.

 

Identify average stock usage and compare demand levels and values of current stock.

 

Timber Packs

 

All Timber Packs on file within the specified range.

Identify Timber Packs on file for a given date (specifying the pack type/date/status).
