Quantum VS Function Keys

Your keyboard Function Keys are mapped to certain functions in Quantum VS. You will find it is quicker to use these keyboard shortcuts rather than using your mouse and selecting items from the toolbar/menus.

 

Default Function Key mappings are displayed below. These can be edited in Edit Key Mappings window - see Editing Default Function Key Mappings below.

Toggle column view (i.e. switch between available Lines View Modes - Nett Price, Unit Price, Gross Price, Back Order Quantities and Stock View).

Add Manual line to document.

The document type created depends on what is active in the New... menu (on the left of the Toolbar - Sub Menu).

Open the Quick Search window.

Show Negotiation (Line Pricing) window.

Toggle the currency display between 'home' and 'local' currency.

Editing Default Function Key Mappings

You may edit the default Function Key mappings if you wish. To do this:

 

1.      From the Toolbar - Main Menu select Tools > Key Mappings.

 

Current key mappings are displayed for each function. The following example shows the default Quantum VS key mappings:

2.      To change a key mapping, click the drop-down menu next to a function and select an alternative function key. For example, you might wish to change the mapping for the 'Add Text Line To Order' function key to Shift + F9:

Note: You may map a function key to <NONE> to 'switch off' that function key mapping in Quantum VS.

 

3.      When you have finished editing Quantum VS Key mappings, click Save on the Toolbar - Sub Menu:
